unique journey on camel-back from the stunning Grant Ranges
to the legendary Fitzroy River and Mt Anderson
(Jarlmadangah in Nyikina). |

Visitors
have an opportunity to learn and experience traditional Aboriginal
survival skills, such as finding water and tracking animals
in the bush.
They can develop an appreciation
of the spiritual history of Indigenous Australians while
participating in traditional Aboriginal activities which have
been passed down for thousands of years. |

Corroborees, boomerang making and
spear-fishing
are some of the activities which are available (subject to seasonal
conditions and the availability of elders). |

Price List for JBAC Bush Adventures (Valid until March 2003).
Half-day tour - $110 per person.
This tour starts at 8.00 am and finishes at approximately 12.30 pm. It includes a smoko/lunch of damper and some local bush tucker plus tea or coffee.
Overnight Accomodation plus half-day tour - $150 per person.
Same tour as above plus overnight use of cabins, ablution block and barbequeue. Visitors to supply their own sleeping gear and personal effects.
Full day tour
- (No accomodation) - $180 per person.
This tour covers all the attractions of the half-day tour, plus more. It also inclusde a lunch of bush-tucker. It begins at 8.00 am and continues until 4.30 pm.
One night accomodation plus full-day tour
- $200 per person.
Two nights accomodation plus full-day tour - $260 per person.
Two days or more accomodation plus tour packages - $200 per day per person.
This package covers a range of activities and sights and will include meals and swags, dome tent etc. There is a choice of camping out bush or returning to the community cabins.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Half-price for children under fourteen years of age.
